Buying and selling safely
A few simple rules avoid almost every problem.
See the motorcycle before you pay
Never pay a deposit, a "reservation fee" or a mobile money transfer for a motorcycle you have not seen.
Meet in a public place
In daylight, somewhere busy, with a friend if you can.
Check the papers
The registration card is in the seller's name, and the chassis number on the motorcycle matches the papers. Compare it with the seller's ID.
Try the motorcycle
A cold start, the brakes, the lights, and a short ride before you pay.
What MotoZando checks, and what it does not
Every ad is read before it is published, and the orange badge marks a seller whose identity we have checked. MotoZando does not check the motorcycle itself: not the chassis number, not the owner, not whether it was stolen. That is for you to check.
Sellers: keep your codes to yourself
Never give anyone a code you received by WhatsApp or SMS. MotoZando will never ask you for it, nor for money by message.
